RL Grime Drops 22 Remixes Of His ALbum NOVA

RL Grime took about two years to flesh out his latest album NOVA and it was worth the wait! Now, about six months later, he presents to us his NOVA (The Remixes, Vol 1 and Vol 2).

We were absolutely blown away when NOVA first released. It was the perfect mix of the classic trap RL Grime sound along with his affinity for hip-hop-type producing. Both volumes of the remix album present the NOVA track-listing in a completely new light.

Volume 1 of the remixes saw eclectic reworks of the already highly versatile album. While some artists such as Enschway and MYRNE draw influence from the king of trap’s unique sound, artists such as Hex CougarEptic and TYNAN stray from the genre and deliver epic new takes on ‘Shrine’, ‘Era’ and ‘Pressure’, respectively. The first installment of the NOVA remixes is perfectly tailored for fans who enjoy a plethora of genres.

Volume 2, on the other hand, is suited for trap lovers. Boasting names such as QUIXAlexander LewisMontell2099Dabow and Cozway, yesterday’s chapter is bound to expose your gnarliest bass face, with each providing refreshing takes on RL Grime’s originals. Other impressive standouts include Valentino Khan and Anna Lunoe‘s infectious remix of ‘Pressure’ and Heimanu‘s emotional and melodic rework of ‘UCLA’.
