Ultra india 2017

Ultra Music Festival in India may have the best lineup!

Ultra Music Festival is coming to India and we’re totally excited about it! The Bass Stud was always on the hunts to find out one of the best lineups in a music festival in India, but it seems the wish is about to come true. If the rumors are to be believed, Road to Ultra – India 2017 has the best lineup to start this year.

For those who aren’t yet acquainted with Road to Ultra, Road to Ultra is a series of one-day events, are held before the main festival in Miami. The Delhi leg of the series will take place in Greater Noida on 8th September, Friday at the India Exposition Mart. Early bird tickets for the festival will be out soon and we expect a stellar lineup for this edition of Ultra.
The second event by the Road to Ultra will be in Mumbai on Febuary 2018.

The line-up may include big acts like:

The Chainsmokers

the chainsmokers
The Chainsmokers have already given the hint of their Indian visit, and by this we already believe it is going to be Ultra Music Festival, Delhi on 8th September. The duo is one of the most-wanted acts in festivals recently and haven’t visited India from a very long time now.

Slushii

Slushii is the performance alias of American EDM artist Julian Scanlan, who first made waves in the streamosphere with a series of remixes in 2016. In the meantime, he experimented with digital audio workstations on his own, developing his skills at recording and sound manipulation. He began posting remixes as Slushii in 2015 as an 18-year-old, and garnered seven-figure plays for his Valentine’s Day version of “Want U 2” with original artist Marshmello in February 2016. His remixes of Zara Larsson with MNEK, Alan Walker, and the summer smash “Closer” by the Chainsmokers also each attracted listens tallying in the millions.

Galantis

Featuring Christian Karlsson of Miike Snow and Linus Eklöw from Style of Eye, Galantis are a Swedish superduo who represent the place where EDM and pop meet. The hit single “Runaway (U & I)” followed in 2014, while their debut effort, Pharmacy, landed a year later. The album featured two new singles, “Gold Dust” and “Peanut Butter Jelly.” The following year, the duo released the single “No Money,” which became their first song to debut on the Billboard Hot 100. That same year also saw the release of “Love on Me,” a collaboration with Aussie DJ Hook N Sling, and in 2017 they released a remix of singer/songwriter/pianist Wrabel’s “Bloodstain.”

Watching Galantis play is always a melodic and blissful moment for everyone!

REZZ

Twenty-year-old Niagara Falls native Isabelle Rezazadeh, aka REZZ, is quickly making a name for herself thanks to her genre-smashing brand of dark and sinister techno. Despite being self-taught, her edgy and hard-hitting productions have caught the attention of Skrillex’s Nest and drawn comparisons to Gesaffelstein and Trent Reznor. On the cusp of a summer that will see her perform at a major festival and release music on one of the biggest labels in dance music, we’ve managed to steal a few of REZZ’s minutes and ask her a few questions.
BEWARE of Rezz if you tend to lose control over trippy music and visualizations!rezz

Ape Drums

Ape Drums’ signature dancehall rhythms mixed with big room sounds have already garnered support from some of the world’s top DJs & musicians including Major Lazer, Skrillex, Sean Paul and DJ Snake. The Houston, Texas native began DJing and producing at the age of 15, with humble b-boy beginnings as a member of his high school’s dance crew.

Ultra Music Festival India will no doubt be two entirely unique experiences that are an absolute must for any and all international dance music fan. We are not only excited to learn more about what the festival plans to do as they release details about the two new festivals, but are also incredibly excited to see the reaction of Indian fans. The local talent in India has been noted over the years as the country is a breeding ground for euphoric high energy trance. We can only hope that Ultra India gives proper credit to the genre during its initial events.
